A jewel should have more than one life.
Aria Mehta began with a simple observation: the objects we treasure most are the ones that move. The brooch that passes from one lapel to another across generations. The stone that outlives every dress it ever touched, gathering its own history as it goes. Most fashion is designed for a moment; the house was founded to design for that movement — to make pieces that live many lives, in many forms, across many years.
The house exists to dissolve the oldest boundary in luxury: the line between jewellery and fashion. Here they are not neighbouring crafts but one language — the gown conceived around its stones the way a setting is conceived around a jewel, structurally, deliberately, until neither can be called finished without the other. The emeralds laced through a bodice, the sapphires cascading down an open back, can be lifted free and worn alone: a pendant, a brooch, an object in its own right. Each piece is a single work of art with two lives. The gown is an evening; the jewel is a lifetime.
Shaped by years working in fashion, the house holds itself to the standards of high jewellery and haute couture alike. Stones are selected one by one. Silks are cut and sewn entirely by hand. Settings are engineered to the tolerance of a jeweller's loupe, then hidden inside seams so the mechanism disappears and only the beauty remains. Nothing is produced; everything is made — one piece, one client, one commission at a time.
